  2. Conversion Buddy 3.9 Freeware
  3. Minor Upgrade from v 3.8

  5. New Installation:
  6. If you have not previously installed Conversion Buddy, just 
  7. click on install. The rest of this message may be ignored.
  8.  
  9. This program no longer provides an uninstaller. All the 
  10. files are in the directory you select for installation.
  11. Exception: a small file buddy.ini in the Windows directory.
  12. To uninstall, delete the CB directory, windows\buddy.ini,
  13. and the CB program manager icons.
  14.  
  15. Previous Installation:
  16. Forget the Uninstall Icon, just delete the cnvbuddy
  17. directory and all its contents, and its subdirectory.
  18. The other file installed is buddy.ini in the Windows
  19. directory. It will just be overwritten by this install.
  20. Delete the Uninstall Icon from the Program Manager.
  21. If you don't, it will misleadingly appear there after
  22. this installation. 
  23. Then install this new 3.9 version of CB.

  25. If you are reinstalling CB you will lose any new factors and 
  26. units you added. This upgrade version has a significant datamodel
  27. change that prepares for the upcoming multivariable expression
  28. module. If you are unwilling to lose the new factors and
  29. units you added, don't install this.
